Individuals

Through counselling and psychotherapy people can become aware of patterns of behaviour that prevent from achieving happiness in life.

I provide a safe environment in which people are able to explore themselves and their past to come to a greater understanding of the reasons behind their behaviour in the present. By looking at themselves they are able to change their interactions with others and are able to achieve greater fulfilment.

Eating Disorders

An area of special interest is in my work with people struggling with an eating disorder where I provide one to one therapy or practice within a small group setting.

If you are interested in joining a group please contact me to discuss whether this approach is best for you and availability for a group that meets your needs.

I take GP referrals and work alongisde psychatric care services.

Group therapy

Groups can be supportive, inviting a caring climate as trust develops, enabling difficulties to be more easily resolved.

Groups provide new ways of relating, and as members start to feel more comfortable they are able to speak freely. The safety of the group can allow the expression of feelings that are often difficult to express outside of the group.

Groups are less costly.
